Welcome to Needham Elementary!  We are the home of the Bulldogs!  We are located on the east side of Franklin, Indiana.  Neeham Elementary serves approximately 430 students.  Needham has a wonderful tradition of helping each student experience success.  We are excited about making AYP for the  2010-2011.  Our students experience a rigorous academic curriculum.
Our school mathematics curriculum is Everyday Math.  Last year was our first year with this research-based spiral curriculum.  In our first year, we saw amazing growth in our student’s mathematical skills.  Our reading curriculum is Scott Foresman.  We are really excited about implementing our new science curriculum this year.  We have adopted Discovery Education.  Discovery Education is a completely digital curriculum.
In addition, our students also have the opportunity to experience learning outside of the classroom through field trips, virtual field trips and our expansive school grounds; which include the one room Dollen’s Schoolhouse, Butterfly garden, other garden areas, and nature areas.
